The Foundation Years (2013-2016)

AccountPro Institute was founded in January 2013 with a clear vision: to bridge the growing skills gap in Sri Lanka's accounting sector. Starting with just 15 students in a modest classroom in Colombo, our founders recognized the critical need for practical, industry-relevant accounting education that went beyond traditional academic approaches.

Our early years were marked by close collaboration with local accounting firms and businesses, ensuring our curriculum remained aligned with real-world demands. This practical approach quickly earned us recognition, and by 2016, we had graduated over 200 students with an impressive 92% job placement rate.

We achieved official recognition from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) and expanded our facilities to accommodate growing demand.
